Development history
Conceived during the Winter War to demolish Finnish concrete works, the single SU-100Y arrived too late for that conflict. In late 1941 it was pulled from the proving ground into an independent heavy artillery unit covering the approaches to Moscow. It survives at Kubinka, the only vehicle of the T-100 family left intact.
